Hey all, This is sort of an introductory thread to introduce yourself and explain why you were interested in the project and what skills you bring!
A bit about me: I have worked as a VFX/Technical artist so I have background programming and working artistically so hopefully I can keep the ball rolling on this project. I will say I am -not- a designer, so one of my big hopes with this game is for you guys to really help craft this world out and develop good game mechanics. Obviously the idea is for the game to be inspired by the 2 VtM PC games that came out but be unique in our own ways as well. As much as they were great storytelling masterpieces they were also buggy, had some pretty awful UI and numerous other problems. So hopefully we can put our heads together and come up with some better solutions.
I'll regularly post videos/gifs etc of what I've got going- hopefully you guys will post stuff you are creating as well. As far as sharing goes I think going with a google drive will probably work for now, if people need access to the actual project later on I can set up an SVN (source control) they can access. I think right now though in the preproduction sort of phase here we need to iron out what this game is even going to be, so starting to work on Lore, main story arc and game systems/ design doc should be our focus as well as just getting to know each other!

Hey everyone, Scar here. Just wanted to introduce myself as well I'm a first year Games and Digital Media student. Wanted to get involve in this project to learn about game development from the ground up. My interests mostly lie in writing and animation, nut I'm happy to learn software/coding as I go in order to contribute. I'll probably be askin' alot about what software particular people are using so I can get myself educated! At the moment I'm only familiar with Blender. I'm hoping to help out with the quests and lore writing as I've had past exposure with V:tM, short story writing and text-based RPGs, but as I said, I'm gonna skill up so I can help out in other areas as well. Nice to meet ya!! Scarlet Melbourne

Hello everyone,
This is Sawaian. I'm sending this introduction with the upmost vibe.
I'm taking a break this year from going to school to write more than I ever have before. I have worked on a few games early to late last year, writing for the story and designing mission aspects. I write screenplays mostly and have had my work produced. I currently am developing a tv-spec to pitch to nickelodeon with a friend who works there. I have under my belt over 60 short scripts and 7 features written.
I have been playing Vampire the Masquerade for 7 years now. I still play with my group every week, the fools! I mean, they're nice people, but as the storyteller it's encouraging to throw near insurmountable adversity their way. I've played V:TM Bloodlines through and through several times and am intimate with its use of atmosphere.
The vampire books I have are:
3rd Edition V:TM Vampire: Requiem 2nd Edition V:TM player's guide V:TM storytellers handbook
and I've several other books related to the lore.
I see myself writing the story, lore, quests, characters, and dialog to this game.
Pleased to meet everyone,
Sawaian

Great to have both of you here! Really looking forward to what we can accomplish together. As far as reference books go I too have a few:
VTM sourcebook Libellus Sanguinis sourcebook series The Ashen Thief
I also have a bunch of VTM pdfs I can probably throw up in that megaupload folder for material ideas.
